Marinda is an expert in the field of environmental law including environmental and nature conservation law and project development. Marinda's practice focuses on advising and litigating for initiators (permit holders) and governmental authorities in the field of environmental law including environmental and nature conservation law and project development. Her practice also includes advising on these areas of law in the context of mergers and acquisitions (due diligence).

Marinda regularly assists developers and governments in negotiating area and project developments and writes or reviews related contracts. She also has extensive experience in drafting UAV-GC 2005 contracts and real estate financing agreements.

Furthermore, Marinda advises and litigates in the field of general administrative law (among others) on enforcement (administrative fine, penalty) and subsidies. She also has extensive experience with the Open Government Act. Marinda regularly gives courses in the above-mentioned areas of law.

Marinda graduated from Utrecht University with a degree in economic geography in 1998, followed by a degree in economic public and business law from the same university in 2001. After working for nine years at De Brauw, Marinda became a Partner at Straatman Koster advocaten in 2010.
